Artist Profile | Jiro Yoshida was born in Kyoto and has been interested in handcrafting since childhood. Although he initially pursued an engineering career after graduating, in his 30s, he felt a strong desire to pursue traditional crafts. Without hesitation, he quit his job and enrolled in a traditional crafts college to study ceramics. Yoshida's pottery is characterised by clear and visible lines and simple colours such as black and white. His first collection was launched in 2019, and due to the handmade nature of each piece, the stock is very limited.
