Artist Profile | Born in Tokyo in 1967 the ceramist Souji Tsurumi makes pottery in Tokoname, Aichi prefecture. He sticks to the original clay and makes pottery by hand forming. The expression of the rich soil is delicious. A vessel that beautifully reflects the colour of the ingredients has a rustic quality that grows with use.
